Actor

Acting

Whether you're a seasoned actor from a past show, an actor that's new to our stage, or new to acting altogether, we welcome all to audition for our productions!

Actors on Stage

An actor portrays a character by interpreting the script, delivering lines, and embodying emotions through physical movement and facial expressions. They collaborate with directors and fellow cast members to create a compelling narrative, engaging the audience through live performance. Their work involves rehearsing, memorizing lines, and understanding stagecraft to effectively tell the story.

If you're interested in auditioning for one of our shows, check out our AUDITIONS page.
You can also follow us on FACEBOOK where we post audition event notices.

Crew

Being a crew member in a theatre production is a multifaceted experience that combines creativity, collaboration, and hard work. The role of crew members—often referred to as "behind-the-scenes artists"—is vital to the success of any theatrical performance. Each crew member contributes their skills and talents to bring a script to life, making the magic of theatre possible.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a crew member is that everyone plays a part in the creation of the show. Communication is key. This spirit of collaboration fosters lasting friendships and a sense of belonging, an essential component for anyone involved in the arts.
Common crew roles include but are not limited to: stage manager; set designers; set construction; lighting designer; tech booth; costumer; props master; stagehands; and others.
Unfamiliar with these roles? Don't worry, we can teach you all you need to know.

Man in Theater with Script

Being a director in a theatre production is both a challenging and rewarding experience that combines artistic vision, leadership, and collaboration. The role of a director is multifaceted, involving creative decision-making, effective communication, and the ability to inspire a diverse group of individuals to bring a shared vision to life.

Nervous about being a first-time director? No worries, we encourage all first-time director’s to assistant direct (AD) at least one show to get a feel for what all is involved in directing at TNT. Being an AD is a great stepping stone to eventually directing your own production. AD’s serve as a vital support to the director while also facilitating communication and collaboration among the cast and crew.
